“Mr. Spataro has extensive legal experience working with emerging technology companies. He began his legal career in 1996 as an attorney with Venture Law Group, in Menlo Park, California. Most recently, Carl served as Deputy General Counsel for Collegiate Funding Services, LLC, which was sold to JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in March 2006. Carl was also as an attorney with the law firm of Covington & Burling, in Washington, DC. Prior to law school, Carl served as a communications officer in the United States Marine Corp and was employed as an engineer with IBM.
As general counsel of Authentium, Inc., Carl Spataro is responsible for all legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property protection and licensing, business transactions and dispute resolution.
