Calum Paterson is SEP’s Managing Partner and co-founder. He is one of the UK’s most experienced and respected venture capitalists in a career which spans two decades.
He has led SEP’s growth into one of Europe’s leading venture capital firms and has been behind many of its most successful start up and later stage venture capital deals over the years, with a large number of successful IPO’s and trade sales.
As well as heading the SEP venture capital team, he is closely involved with a number of SEP’s current portfolio companies including Sumerian, the IT analytics company and Daysoft, the B2C contact lens company.
Prior to his career in venture capital, he worked with Ernst & Young, the global professional services firm. He has a first degree in economics and a masters degree in business administration.
