Byron joined Jefferson in 1999 to focus on identifying, evaluating and recommending new market and investment opportunities. With nearly a decade of experience in the technology sector, Byron brings a strong human capital perspective and background to Jefferson’s activities. He is actively involved with management of BorderWare Technologies Inc. and Avotus Corporation.
Prior to joining Jefferson Partners, Byron co-managed a private portfolio of private and public technology companies and was deeply involved in the recruitment of over 100 senior technology professionals in the areas of software and communications through an affiliated executive recruitment firm.
He is active in the venture community as a participant/panelist with Toronto Angel Group, ROB TV and the Toronto Venture Group.
