Brittany Laughlin is the co-founder of gtrot, find awesome things to do every time you leave your front door. gtrot instantly provides personalized suggestions on what to do in any city. Make plans with friends or ask them for additional advice. Laughlin is an avid traveler, counting over 25 countries across all 7 continents, and wanted to make it easier for people to experience the world around them. She was described by Joanne Wilson as a ‘tenacious’ entrepreneur and has since been named to the Chicago TechWeek 100, a Chicago Entrepreneur to Watch and elected as a Top 50 Young Champion for Women. Prior to gtrot, Brittany launched two new products at American Express OPEN. During her tenure she was nominated for one of the company’s top honors: the Chairman Award for Innovation and was a two-time winner of the OPEN Innovation Award. Laughlin has a BS in Marketing and International Business from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a minor in Film and TV from Tisch School of the Arts.
