Product Marketing Manager, Google
Brittany Bohnet’s most recent work experience was at Google, where she helped launch and grow various strategic products like Google TV, Google Maps, Google Earth, Real Time Search, and iGoogle. Bohnet was also a product lead on Google’s government-related activities from 2007-2009, where she actively worked on merging the gap between online and offline democracy and citizen engagement. Previously she worked in Public Relations at Apple, Marketing at Tiny Pictures, and in college, founded Median Media, a consulting company for Silicon Valley startups. She is an advisor to Piryx – a giving platform for small businesses, non-profits, and government officials – and is also a member of several technology organizations, as well as a strong supporter of open data, social identity, and innovative advancement of the web. Her experiences with product strategy, design and development have spanned mobile, web, and TV, for both the U.S. and global market. Bohnet received a BS in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin, and currently lives in San Francisco, California.
