Brian has had a successful career working with Silicon Valley start-ups and teaching them how to leverage employee benefits as a recruitment and compensation tool. His methods have allowed clients to acquire significant Silicon Valley talent, which ultimately helps lay the foundation for aggressive growth.
Brian has also worked with multinational corporations to develop key domestic and global benefit strategies; bridge the HR & Compliance gaps; and tackle the challenges of operating in multi-state environments.
Brian’s background includes corporate risk modeling/forecasting, payroll & benefits administration, healthcare claims consulting, hospital and managed care contract consulting, and HRIS implementation.
Brian graduated from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in International Relations. He also ran on the USC track & field team. Brian currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA) and is an Advisor for Pacific Community Ventures – a venture capital firm specializing in socially responsible investing. He also is an Advisor for Astia – a non-profit committed to building women leaders and accelerating the funding of high-potential, high growth, women-led startups.
