Brian Flynn is an investor/entrepreneur focused on the software, internet/digital media, consumer and business services industries. Brian has over 15 years of investment, entrepreneurial and investment banking experience with emerging growth companies.
During his career, Brian seeded and/or co-founded 14 companies. Of that group, 5 were acquired, 1 went public, 7 are still private and 1 was shut down. Some of his private investments include IMsecure (sold to Checkpoint Software), Pixoart Design (sold to 51.com of China), Ultris (sold to Saba Software), Fotolog (sold to Hi-Media), Acrodea (IPO in Japan) and many other companies which are currently independent (Relevad, GlobalEnglish, Indiagames, Tapped, others).
Brian also served as Head of Corporate Development at Macromedia where he managed strategy, investments and acquisitions and facilitated the sale of the company to Adobe Systems for $3.9 billion. Earlier in his career, Brian was as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley & Co. and at Robertson Stephens where he closed more than 40 mergers, acquisitions and financings.
