Brian Feinstein leads Bessemer Venture Partners’ investments in Brazil and Russia, where he is focused on internet and software. Founded in 1911, Bessemer is the oldest venture capital firm in the world and is currently investing out of a $1.6 billion global fund with a presence in New York, Boston, California, Israel, India, Brazil, and Russia. Bessemer was an early investor in companies like Skype, VeriSign, LinkedIn, Yelp, Diapers.com, and OLX, and is actively investing in the next generation of leading Latin American and Russian technology businesses.
Brian previously worked out of Bessemer’s New York office and was involved in the firm’s investments in Playdom (acq. Disney), Zoosk, Mindbody, United Capital, and Knewton. Prior, Brian worked at Blackstone, where he focused on technology and energy buyout and growth equity investments. Brian was the co-founder and managing partner of Opera New Media, a full service digital advertising agency providing web development, SEM, SEO, and media planning/buying services. Brian holds a B.A. in Government from Harvard University.
