Brian Bedol is the managing partner of Bedrock Venture Partners, an investment company that provides mentor-funding to high-potential early stage media businesses. He has spent much of his career as a television executive and entrepreneur launching and growing successful professional content businesses. He has been involved in the launch and management of companies ranging from MTV to Court TV to the YES Network, and he founded and served as President and CEO of the sports television channels Classic Sports Network and College Sports Television, which have since been acquired and renamed ESPN Classic and CBS College Sports Network. Bedol was also a founding team-member of General Catalyst Partners as well as a seed investor in Akamai, Lycos Gamesville, and Buddy Media.
