Brendaen is a founding member of SavingStar, Inc. – the first fully national & mobile digital grocery coupon service. The partners originally built Upromise’s grocery vertical, and spun that asset out from Sallie Mae, Inc. in 2010 (SLM acquired Upromise in 2006).
As a Upromise team member, Brendaen sold, negotiated and structured partnerships with major CPG companies including Procter & Gamble, Kraft, and Kellogg. He managed the account executive team overseeing such relationships as McDonald’s, ExxonMobil, Bed Bath & Beyond, Avis, Rewards Network, and Pep Boys.
At Lands’ End, Inc. he managed inventories, merchandized catalogs, and developed product.
Brendaen’s education includes raising a family of four girls with his wife, learning from great mentors, and a BA from Brigham Young University.
