Deemed a Social Networking Expert by Google, and a social media strategist by trade, Powell has leveraged her strategic approach to social media by helping companies to establish their brands online into the fast-growing market of social media since 2007. Powell acts as a strategic consultant for companies looking to market themselves using the rapidly expanding social networking space.
Helping companies to “cash-in” on the marketing capabilities of social networks through strategy and rich media, Powell takes online marketing to the next level for companies by allowing them to reach a larger number of their target audience for a fraction of the cost of traditional media. She also works with several speaking organizations across the country as a motivational & educational speaker in helping to raise awareness of the benefits and uses of social media in today’s society.
Additionally, Powell is involved in numerous charitable organizations and fundraisers nationwide including Junior League of Los Angeles, Filter for Good, Rescue Humanity, and many others. She also serves on the founding Board of Directors for the non-profit, Lung Transplant Support Organization, as the Director of Marketing.
Powell resides in Los Angeles, CA with her fiance and two shiba inus. She enjoys traveling, art, and helping shape the lives of the community through media.
