Brad Taylor likes to build technology and innovation ecosystems.
Brad is a founding partner at Tech Wildcatters, a two-time Forbes Top Ten Hottest Startup Incubator located in Dallas, and a mentor at Health Wildcatters, which is focused on early stage healthcare. Until recently, he was CEO of AVIDwireless, a Connected World 100 company that provided a Java framework for M2M and the Internet of Things. The company was purchased by Numerex (NASDAQ: NMRX), a leader in M2M. Brad was previously the founding CEO at GRS, a provider of wireless rail network and equipment management solutions, which was purchased in 2009 by Vossloh AG (Xetra: VOS).
He also has made key contributions in sales, technology, and operational roles at Siebel Systems, Digitalk, and Enfin Software, helping these companies to grow and create shareholder value .
Brad has advised, made angel investments in, or worked for start-ups in M2M, mobile, SaaS/ PaaS, Big Data, enterprise software, electronics, and educational games.
Brad is active in the DFW community, and has worked on initiatives in entrepreneurship and education. Brad is a past Vice-Chairman of MIT Enterprise Forum, has served as an Executive Board Member for the Trinity Valley School, and, while at GRS, led work on emergency and economic development planning in Central Texas.
