Boris Felts is recognized as an expert in mobile TV, he created the world’s first encoding products developed specifically for this market. Under Boris’s guidance, Envivio created the world’s first convergence headend, based around a single encoder capable of encoding content for the Three Screens. Prior to Envivio, Boris was a researcher in the Philips Laboratories in Paris, where he has been awarded five patents for his work on Wavelet-based video compression and context-adaptive arithmetic coding. Boris graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom, Paris, in Physics and Signal Processing.
