Bo’s responsibility as Chief Architect can be broken down into Infrastructure, Integration, Intelligence, and Innovation.
“Infrastructure” guru focusing on cost reduction, and account for overall IT budget. Love the cloud, embrace the cloud, but most importantly understand the shortfalls and work arounds for the cloud.
“Integration” guru connecting internal and external ecosystems. This includes building the ecosystems in some cases
“Intelligence” guru who understands that without the right information at the right time all is lost. This means not only protecting our internal information, but how to create, gather, process, and disseminate information to the right people at the right time.
“Innovation” guru who can drive innovation on a shoestring budget. I move fast, fail fast, and move on until I find the disruptive technology.
