Blake Ashby was a cofounder and president of one of the first data-centric competitive phone providers in the Midwest. Acquired by Primary Network, it grew and was later acquired by Mpower Communications. He was also a co-founder and president of GameRail, a high-speed network company serving online gaming and an early shareholder and consultant with Envisioneering Medical Technologies. He also authored the original business plan for SAVVIS Communications and was a founding member of an electronic standards development body for the U.S. Meat and Poultry Industry, mpXML.org, and served as their Executive Vice President. Other ventures have included software development, communications technologies as well as foodservice and food production companies. Blake enjoys politics and hopes to change the world.
