There is too much trading and too little real value creation in the VC world today, comments Bj�rn pensively. I’m a firm believer in working together with managements, and making things happen in the early stages of a company’s lifecycle.
Bj�rn joined Northzone in 1996, this making him the third man on board, and has been instrumental in fund raising and building Northzone Ventures to a leading Nordic venture capital company ever since.
Described by many as “an analysts analyst” Bj�rn has earned his analytical laurels with ABG Sundal Collier & Co - one of the leading independent Nordic Investment Banks - and as a consultant in McKinsey & Co as well as Accenture.
Challenged by Torleifs success in sports, Bjorn has taken his own training to new levels. He now boasts a physical condition “better than ever” according to his own merits.
Bj�rn holds a M.Sc. in Business Adm./M.Sc. Economics from NHH in Bergen, Norway (1989).
Bj�rn serves as Chairman of the Board of Intility, and as Director in Replisaurus and Imbera. He has also served as Chairman in Stepstone and Nextgentel, and as Director in MCP.
