Bjorn Laurin serves as the vice president and general manager of mobile at Myspace. In this role, he is responsible for defining and executing the mobile strategy for the company which includes, Myspace mobile and the suite of MySpace branded mobile applications.
Bjorn brings more than a decade of mobile industry experience to Myspace. Prior to joining Myspace, Bjorn has held several management positions at Yahoo!. He has served as the director of global mobile monetization at Yahoo! and launched the company’s first mobile advertising solution in the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe. As global product manager at Yahoo!, Bjorn developed and created new wireless marketing programs for FIFA World Cup 2006 on a global level, along with the FIFA marketing team.
Bjorn studied Economics and Social Geography at the universities of Uppsala and Stockholm, Sweden.
