Benjy Weinberger is a veteran Software Engineer with a background in distributed systems and large-scale databases.
He started his career in Tel Aviv at Check Point Software Technologies and then Quiver, a knowledge management company later acquired by Inktomi.
Benjy spent eight years working on search and advertising systems at Google and worked on infrastructure and revenue systems at Twitter before joining Foursquare in 2011, where he was VP of Infrastructure Engineering.
In January 2016 he left Foursquare to pursue his own software venture.
Benjy holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and studied graduate Mathematics and Computer Science, also at HU.
