Ben brings over 15 years in corporate finance, project finance and executive management in the renewable and traditional power industries. He leads Recurrent Energy’s corporate and project financing, including managing strategic venture and procurement relationships domestically and internationally. He was most recently the Director of Structured Finance & Business Development at SunPower Corporation (formerly PowerLight), where he helped develop and finance large-scale and distributed solar PV projects across North America, Europe, and Asia. Earlier, Ben was CEO of the Solar Electric Light Company (SELCO), which sells, services and finances solar electricity systems in emerging markets. Prior to SELCO, Ben financed energy infrastructure for Bechtel Enterprises, the project finance and development arm of Bechtel, and for Credit Suisse First Boston’s Energy investment banking group. Ben holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and degrees in Physics and Economics from the University of Virginia.
