Mr. Watson is currently the VP Marketing at HootSuite. He recently left Adobe where he was a Principal focused on Customer and User Experience in the Digital Marketing Business Unit at Adobe Systems. At Yahoo, he served as Sr. Director of Product Strategy for Yahoo advertising products, focused on ad platforms strategy.
Prior to that he spent many years at both Adobe and Microsoft in senior product management and marketing roles, working on .NET, Flex, Web Services, AJAX and many other internet and browser standards and technologies.
He has worked on campaign, creative and content strategies with major brands and media properties such as GM, Toyota, Sprint, Purina, American Express, Spin, Vibe, Wedding Bells, Proctor & Gamble and Canadian brands such as Toronto Life, Fashion Magazine, Canadian Geographic, Bell, MSN Sympatico and many others. His background in media, advertising and design have taken him around the world, working in the US, Canada, Russia, UK, China and Japan.
