Ben Metcalfe is an independent consultant focusing on Platform & API strategies, social media and the social graph, online media, and community-orientated strategy. He advised MySpace on their platform strategy, including Google OpenSocial, and currently advises Seesmic on product development and strategy. He worked at the BBC in London for six years during which he was one of the people responsible for launching the BBC’s developer network backstage.bbc.co.uk and also advised the BBC on the launch of their blog network.
