Ben Katz is a serial entrepreneur in the creative & design fields. He has also advised financial sponsors on high yield debt and LBO M&A strategy as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank and Salomon Smith Barney.

His Ben Katz Productions film company specialized in Euro tax-fund advantaged productions including the British gangster flick JOHNNY WAS, which premiered at the 2006 Berlin Film Festival. The company raised over $5 million for four productions in two years and its films have seen by millions, having received wide domestic and international release. Prior to this, Katz packaged independent films at Creative Artists Agency.

Katz was also Founder & CEO of ETCHSTAR.com prior to its merger with Coveroo. There he pioneered commercialization of on-demand customized consumer electronics. Etchstar licensed art properties including Star Trek, The Simpsons, Family Guy, UCLA, Barbie, The Godfather, Boy Scouts of America and hundreds more.
