Ben Guild

Ben Guild is a serial entrepreneur from Boston, MA. Left school at age 17 and started Mobile17, a website for making ringtones from MP3 songs and more.

After receiving subsequent press from TechTV, Kevin Rose, Sarah Lane, and many newspaper/online outlets and publications, the site exploded from viral growth. Through many Slashdot mentions on Ben’s personal weblog, the traffic exchange introduced him to Kevin Rose and helped craft the initial audience for Digg.com.

Ben is located in and originally from Boston, MA. He became a part-time Harvard student in 2009.
