Barbara is the Founder and CEO of Hey, Neighbor. She leads the product roadmap and company strategy.
Barbara has over 15 years of management experience leading large interdisciplinary teams in startup mode as well as in large corporate engagements. She has spoken at numerous conferences and is published in several magazines including Fast Company and Design Mind.
Prior to starting Hey, Neighbor!, Barbara helped to build two interactive agencies from the ground up. Most recently, Barbara was a Director at Frog Design, where she led innovation programs helping Fortune 100 clients to create and launch new products and services.
Her first career was in the restaurant business where she started as a pastry chef and then moved into general management. At the young age of 24, Barbara became a General Manager of a multi-faceted operation including retail, catering, 200-seat restaurant, and gourmet take-out operation.
Barbara graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University. She also attended the Graphic Design certificate program at Parsons.
Outside of work, Barbara is an avid traveler having visited 48 of the 50 states, and over 25 countries and counting. She is also a food and wine lover and she gets giddy in the kitchen.
