Aygul Zagidullina received a Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc.) degree with honors in chemistry from the Bashkir State University in Ufa, Russia where after two years she received her master’s (M.Sc.) degree. Aygul is a recipient of a Scholarship for Excellent Students from the Bashkir State University as well as a German Research Foundation (DFG) Fellowship. In 2007 Aygul joined Institute of Theoretical Chemistry, University of Stuttgart as a research scientist.
