Aydin Ozyavas is the Connected Home Products Manager at Turkcell. His mission is to create high quality products with compelling, customer-based use cases. He guides internal and external stakeholders to define, design, and launch software, hardware, UX and keystone components. He is driven by data, fascinated by user behavior, excited to work with brilliant people, and delighted by products that improve human connection and push technological boundaries. He is particularly interested in early-stage product development and go-to-market strategies.
Prior to his current position at Turkcell, he was a product development engineer at Ooma, a Palo Alto based breakthrough technology start-up company, backed by a bunch of seasoned Silicon Valley investors including Ashton Kutcher, the famous Hollywood actor, and Sean Parker, the founding President of Facebook. Ooma has been selected three years in a row as the #1 home telephony company by a leading consumer research magazine in the U.S. Ooma went public in July, 2015 on the NYSE under the ticker symbol OOMA. He was a key engineer who was responsible for design and development of the next-generation Ooma products. Before that, Aydin worked as a hardware design engineer at the same company, where he designed and verified analog/RF and digital electronic circuits. Aydin has extensive experience in software and hardware design of Internet-of-Things (IoT) products.
Aydin holds an MS from Stanford University and BS from Bogazici University, both in Electrical Engineering.
