Ashish Agrawal is the co-founder of IN Mobile Labs (http://www.inmobilelabs.com). He holds bachelors and masters degrees in computer science and engineering from IIT Kanpur. He represented India at the IX International Astronomy Olympiad winning a Gold medal for the country. He has pursued research in machine learning under Prof. Harish Karnick at IIT Kanpur. He has successfully completed research internships at Ecole Centrale, Paris (under Prof. Nikos Paragios), Microsoft Research, Redmond (under Cormac Herley) and at MIT (under Prof. Norbert Schulz). He has traveled widely spending a semester at the National University of Singapore as an exchange student.
Ashish was convocated with the Ratan Swarup Memorial Prize for the best all round performance amongst all graduating students. He headed the Student Gymkhana of IIT Kanpur as its Convener for the year 2009-2010 and was part of various institute committees including the Academic Review Committee (sits every 10 years to revamp the undergraduate curriculum). He also headed the business club at IIT Kanpur. For his efforts in student governance, he was awarded the IIT Kanpur Excellence award for Leadership in Student Affairs at graduation.
Ashish is interested in building and scaling companies with a focus towards technology companies.
