Aryk is the co-Founder, Chief Technical Officer, and President of Mixbook, managing the product direction for Mixbook’s website. His greatest accomplishments center around his work to architect, develop and deploy Mixbook.com, along with Mixbook’s application on Facebook. Aryk has deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails, and his work at Mixbook led him to contribute heavily to an open source framework called RubyAMF, drastically improving the performance in the process. Before Mixbook, Aryk developed supply chain simulations for the Joint Genome Institute at the U.S. Department of Energy. Aryk has a BSE in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley. While there, he also received a certificate from the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology for completing coursework in Management and Innovation.
