Arvind has been at the forefront of monetizing web based businesses for the last 10 years since his time at Netscape. He has strong background in developing applications, platforms and services across a number of technologies. He joined Greendot from the social media company MySpace, where he was VP, Data Platform. Prior to that, Arvind was CTO of Buzznet and was responsible for managing multiple, scalable web properties during a period of rapid growth. Previously he was Managing Director, Applications at the Los Angeles Times and was responsible for managing growth while introducing new platforms and technologies.
Arvind has a proven track record in technology leadership positions at Yahoo, Earthlink, Shopzilla and Oracle. He is an active blogger and is also a holder of 3 US Patents.
Arvind is a graduate of the dual-degree Jerome Fisher Management and Technology program at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering and B.S. Degree in Finance from the Wharton School of Business.
