Armin Stross-Radschinski is focused on strategic and social/cultural oriented understanding of society and business. “Getting things done”. Sharing experience and “Bringing things further”.
After starting with a professional 2 years german apprenticeship in an industrial design studios prototype workshop he started his design studies at the well known University of Wuppertal, Germany. While beeing still a student he entered a POS Display company as a designer taking over the lead development for 2 years. He finished his Diploma degree in Product Design in 1993.
Since 1991 he is leading his own freelance studio. From 1997 to 2002 he was co-owner and CEO of a production agency called trolance that was responsible for realisation of lots of his designs. One main topic was the development and delivery of high quality print media and heavy duty roadshow equipment for 100 and up installs and fairs for customers like the “Green Dot” in Japan or an Inhouse roadshow for Allianz Insurance. This part is still served by his former partner Peter M. Fischer that provides this service for the work of acsr until today as the seperate company goa-systems.
Joining the board of the german DZUG - Deutschsprachige Zope User Group in 2008 he focused the improvement of the print communications together with the press officer of the board Jan Ulrich Hasecke and other contributors by introducing high quality brochures and newsfolders on the main topics: “Plone - professional Open Source Web CMS” and the “Zope - Component Architecture Software Development” technology based on the popular Python programming language. He was elected for the board again for 2 additional years in 2010.
Since 2004 Armin Stroß-Radschinski is a member of the Plone Foundation
