Ariel Choukroun
Ariel co-founded FittingBox with Benjamin Hakoun in 2006. He is Research and Development director, and has been responsible for leading the development of new technologies since FittingBox’s early days.
Ariel holds a PHD in Computer Science, Augmented Reality (Leopold Escande Prize) and graduated from INSA Toulouse in 2000. He was introduced to Computer Vision science at the CROMEP Laboratory of the Ecole des Mines d’Albi-Carmaux.
He has been studying and teaching image understanding at INP-ENSEEIHT and at the IRIT Laboratory for 4 years.
Ariel’s objective is to make FittingBox Research a highly- skilled laboratory in computer vision science and augmented reality technologies dedicated to the eyewear industry.
