Dutch native Arie Struik is a BBA graduate from Nyenrode University in the Netherlands and has a post graduate from European business school EAP-ESCP (Paris-Oxford-Berlin).
After a number of years in the sports marketing industry (IMG London, APF Marketing Liechtenstein) where he developed the “BB/C” algorithm to quantify the value of billboard advertising around televised sports events, he moved to Nike to build their organizations in Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic.
In 2000 he joined Spray daughter Carambole as the VP Marketing building their organization in 12 countries, until the internet crash later that year.
From 2001 to 2004, Arie was responsible for the expansion of German discount grocery retailer giant Lidl into Sweden.
In 2005 alaTest was founded to help consumers with their buying decisions by objectively informing them about product quality.
Arie lives in Stockholm with his Swedish wife and 4 children.
