Prior to BlueStacks, Apu held leadership roles at iconic consumer technology brands as well as early stage start-ups.
As HP's Director of Software and Online Services, Apu built the apps ecosystem from the ground up, generating $400 million in new business at 90% operating profit. Apu was also instrumental in defining HP's consumer UX design language across all product segments.
At Phoenix Technologies, Apu was the Vice President for Global Sales and Business Development responsible for consumer direct and OEM channel sales for "instant-on", resulting in the successful acquisition by Hewlett-Packard.
At mySimon, the largest consumer shopping destination, Apu was part of the core team that built the #1 search engine for online shopping, which was acquired by CNET for $700 million.
Apu has a Masters degree in Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
