Antonio Maio is the Vice President, Research and Development for Axentra Corporation, responsible for the delivery of the HipServ platform and applications suite. As a member of Axentra’s executive team, Antonio is involved in defining and implementing the HipServ product strategy.
Antonio joined Axentra in 2007 following 17 years in software development, customer and product management, where he gained extensive experience developing, managing and deploying high availability, client/server systems and e-business/e-commerce web applications. His unique experience leading development teams as well as managing customer and OEM relationships makes him ideally suited to lead the innovation and growth of Axentra’s digital home software platform and applications suite.
Prior to joining Axentra, Antonio held product, customer and senior management positions at TrueContext, Cactus Communications, Hemera, Entrust and Corel Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada) and certifications in Art and Graphic Design (Florence, Italy), as well as Usability and Usability Testing (Bethesda, MA). Antonio is a technology enthusiast, driven to improve user experience and technology performance on every product and service that he manages.
