Anne has lead policy development and implementation at Yahoo! in a wide range of areas.
She has cross-functional experience with sales, marketing, product, customer care, PR, public policy, engineering, UED and legal. Primary responsibilities include managing a team of policy experts, representing the voice of the user as a consumer advocate to executive management, minimizing corporate risk, engendering trust with our audience and users, and establishing industry best practices in key policy areas as a representative of a leading Internet company.
Active in leading industry trade association efforts, lobbying, and public speaking. Testified before US Congress on Internet privacy and online advertising and before the Article 29 Working Party in Brussels on data retention matters.
Previously a board member of the Internet Content Ratings Association, currently a board member of the Network Advertising Initiative. Participate on multiple privacy advisory boards.
