Ankur Warikoo is an Internet entrepreneur based in India.
He is currently the CEO of the India Unit of GROUPON Inc., which operates under the name Crazeal.com
Warikoo also acts as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Rocket Internet Gmbh (owners of CityDeal - which got sold to GROUPON). As part of Rocket, Warikoo started as a consultant to Groupon India in March 2011, before taking over the country operations in August 2011.
Previously Ankur was the Co-Founder of Accentium Web, which owns and operates several websites in the Indian Consumer Space, namely SecondShaadi.com (India's largest matrimonial service for remarriages), Gaadi.com (India's 2nd largest Car Portal), StudyNation.com (India's #1 Education Website) amongst others.
Ankur joined Accentium, which was founded by Vivek Pahwa (CEO) and exited the venture in September 2010.
Ankur is a graduate from the Class of 2006 at ISB, Hyderabad where he completed his MBA.
Post ISB, Ankur joined A.T. Kearney in their consulting practice in India. Accentium was founded in 2007, while he was still at Kearney (and continued to work till 2009 and assist Accentium in a part-time capacity). He moved full-time to Accentium in May 2009.
Alongwith an MBA degree, Ankur is an MS in Physics from Michigan State University and a BS from Hindu College, Delhi University.
