Ankit Jain is the Founder & CEO at mobile intelligence startup Quettra. Previously, he was the Head of Search & Discovery for Google Play. Before that, Ankit helped build several parts of a web search engine from scratch at Cuil, Inc, and also designed the real time and social search engines there. Ankit is very involved with the entrepreneurial community via the Startup Leadership Program. Ankit received his BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2007 and his MS in Computer Science with a focus on Parallel and Distributed Computing from UC Berkeley in 2008. He received a Certificate in Management of Technology from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley in 2008.
Ankit is a speaker at several conferences on a variety of search and mobile technologies. He co-authored the opening chapter in "Next Generation Search Engines: Advanced Models for Information Retrieval" (http://www.igi-global.com/book/next-generation-search-engines/59723).
Ankit also runs the Silicon Valley chapter of the Startup Leadership Program (www.startupleadership.com), a network of first time CEOs around the globe.
