Andy Chen is an executive recruiter at Riviera Partners. At Riviera Partners, he recruits highly sought-after talent for high profile venture-funded start-ups in Silicon Valley.
Prior to joining Riviera, Andy worked on self-healing polymers and an invisibility cloak as a Lead Engineer at Sensormetrix. Andy was also an Engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory where he worked on the Gamma-Ray Channeling project, a technology aimed for use in nuclear non-proliferation, and a prototype satellite funded by DARPA.
He is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego and holds a MS & BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Plasma Physics. His thesis topic was in the area of magnetic confinement fusion, specifically applied to the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER).
