Andrew is an advisor to the 4Di Capital investment team, where he provides support to the investment processes, economic analyses and deal structuring and execution.
Andrew read for a BCom in Information Systems at the University of Cape Town, is a South African Chartered Accountant, a CFA Charterholder and a professional member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
Andrew has previously worked in middle-market corporate finance and, in a previous life, worked as a software developer, a lecturer and consulted on various information security matters.
He is also a steering committee member of the Silicon Cape initiative, a non-profit organisation committed to facilitating and encouraging technology-orientated start-ups in South Africa, where he contributes mainly on regulatory matters affecting these businesses.
He is married to Alicia Thomas-Woolf, has a cat named KittenZ and particularly enjoys piano compositions in the impressionistic style.
