As General Manager of North America, Andrew will work on growing the Angry Birds franchise through entertainment industry partnerships and new distribution channels for video animation, as well as leveraging the phenomenal success of Angry Birds to both support the launch of new IP and develop new revenue streams for the company.
In his previous role as Senior Vice President of Mobile at Fox Digital Entertainment, Andrew was responsible for app publishing and video licensing for 20th Century Fox properties such as ‘Glee’, ‘Avatar’ and ‘The Simpsons’, and worked with Rovio on the development of the Angry Birds Rio game, a unique integration between ‘Angry Birds’ and the Fox film ‘Rio’.
Andrew Stalbow joined Fox in 2006. After starting as Vice President, International for Fox Mobile Entertainment based in London, he moved to Los Angeles to become Senior Vice President of Mobile at Fox Digital Entertainment. There he negotiated prominent video distribution deals and launched new apps with best-of-breed developers and publishers such as EA, Gameloft, Smule, Chillingo and Disney Mobile, significantly growing the revenue of the business unit during the three years he ran the team.
A graduate of the University of Leeds, Andrew held commercial roles at Hutchison 3G UK and Vodafone Group prior to joining Fox.
