Andrew Lee

Andrew joined CloudBees to help direct corporate strategy and lead business development.

His prior experience spans both operating and investing roles. Andrew was most recently with Battery Ventures, where he helped lead the firm’s efforts in Enterprise Software and Infrastructure from the Menlo Park office.

Prior to that, Andrew was with VMware, directing corporate development and leading strategic investment and acquisition initiatives. He led six acquisitions, including SpringSource, three early-stage venture investments, and a $20m PIPE in Terremark. He also managed alliances with emerging ecosystem partners and drove strategic licensing and OEM activity.

Prior to VMware, Andrew held various product management and sales roles at a storage systems company, Intransa, that was a portfolio investment of Advanced Technology Ventures, where he was an Associate with their $400m and $800m funds. Before ATV, Andrew held venture and M&A advisory positions at Wasserstein Perella, in his hometown of New York.

He is also a partner with SV2 – Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund – a partnership for giving.

Andrew graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School, with a dual concentration in Finance and Operations & Information Management.
