Chairman of the Board, President of Sonda S.A., a leading IT services provider in Latin America.
He is also the Chairman of the Board of Clinica Las Condes and of Inmobiliaria y Constructora Aconcagua S.A. and member of the board of Fundacion Teleton, a non-profit organization.
Andrés Navarro Haeussler studied at the Colegio San Ignacio and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where graduated as Industrial Engineer.
In 1974 he founded the company Sonda SA, which is present in 9 countries of the region (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay) and has more than 10,000 employees.
He was formerly Director of LAN Airlines, Chilevisión and Viña Santa Rita, among other companies and institutions.
In his career he has received numerous awards, among which are Icare Award, Entrepreneur of the Year (2003), Ignatian Year (2009), Lifetime Achievement Award for Business of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (2009), and College Management Prize Engineers (2010).
