Andre is a long-time leader in the Business Intelligence arena with over 25 years of executive experience with enterprise software giants such as Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) and SAS Institute. He has also held senior management positions at Cognos (NASDAQ: COGN), IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Sagent (now part of Group 1 Software, NASDAQ: GSOF).
At Cary, NC-based SAS Institute Inc., Andre was president and chief operating officer. While at Oracle, he was senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing and served as a member of Oracle’s Worldwide Management Committee. Andre has also held senior executive positions in sales, marketing and Research & Development at Cognos and IBM, where he was a 13-year veteran.
Andre is currently on the board of directors of several enterprise software companies, including VA Software (NASDAQ: LNUX), Palamida, and Dynamics Direct. In addition, he is Chairman of the Board at UBmatrix, Pentaho and SlickEdit.
