After graduating as a business administration major in college, Andre joined AmBev in 2002 (the largest brewery in Latin America later to become AB InBev) as a trainee and worked there for 5,5 years, holding positions in sales, trade marketing and marketing. Andre left AmBev in 2007 to pursue an MBA at the Harvard Business School and after graduating in 2009, joined McKinsey at the Sao Paulo office, where he stayed for 1,5 years. In January 2011 he was the first Brazilian recruited by Rocket Internet and one of the co-founders of what became the largest fashion e-commerce in Brazil, Dafiti. In June 2011 Andre left Dafiti to launch olook, which is the first and largest women fast-fashion eCommerce brand in Brazil. Olook combines its own monthly collections of clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories with the curation of selected brands to provide customized offers that are supported by content and personalized product recommendations.
