Amanda Congdon

Amanda Congdon was one of the founders of Rocketboom, and was the show’s host from October 26, 2004 until June 23, 2006. There has been a great deal of controversy over her departure from the show. Congdon has claimed that she was fired, while the show’s producer has stated that she left the show to pursue her own interests.

After leaving Rocketboom, Congdon was a co-producer and host of a vidcast for ABC. She has participated in a number of online video sites, including her own “Amanda Across America”, which chronicled her exploits as she travelled across the U.S.
