He was previously SVP and CMO at eVergance (acquired by KANA), held consulting and practice leadership roles at McKinsey, Extraprise and the Yankee Group, and has advised numerous software start-ups. Recently named as one of the top CMOs on Twitter, Allen is a frequent speaker and blogger, has written for Social Times, CIO.com and CRM Magazine, and has made guest appearances on CNBC and Fox News as an e-commerce expert.
Allen lives outside Boston with his wife, 3 kids, and old-but-still-hyper yellow lab, loves all things about cars and plays a mean bass guitar in a semi-award-winning indie rock band.
