Alki David is the entrepreneur behind FilmOn.
David’s father Andrew A. David managed the Nigerian Coca-Cola bottling company and expanded it for the Leventis Group to Ireland, Greece and together with Coca Cola Company to more than 20 countries.
David helped to initiate other companies, including a modelling agency in the UK, a record label and the not-for-profit organisation Bios - ancient Greek for “life” - which works on marine conservation in Greece, organising underwater clean-ups.
Born in West Africa, David was educated at Stowe and Le Rosey in Switzerland and, after a short stint in the British Army, he went on to graduate from the Royal College of Art film programme. He now splits his time between Switzerland, London, Greece and the USA.
