Alex is an accomplished technologist and product manager with a focus on creating mobile/web experiences. Prior to joining InfoScout, Alex spent 5 years at Yahoo! most recently as Sr. Director of Product Management. There, he was in charge of product definition, strategy and execution for Yahoo!’s social product initiatives and partnerships. Alex created and lead the Yahoo! Social Bar product which grew to 100MM users in a single year, and launched on 100 Yahoo! sites across the world. During his stint at Yahoo!, Alex was also a principal engineer within Yahoo!’s cloud platform group. Before Yahoo!, Alex was a mobile developer at MobiTV and also co-founded his first mobile/web company in 2007. Alex graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley where he double majored in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.
