Alexander Kleinberg serves as Head of Platform Partnerships, Asia-Pacific/Japan at Facebook. He and his team are tasked with increasing the use and engagement of the Facebook platform across international markets through the establishment of partnerships with media firms, technology companies, innovative start-ups and leading brands.
Alexander joined Facebook from Google, where he led its commercial expansion into the Asia-Pacific region, opened the company’s APAC headquarters in Singapore, and headed the business development team in Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining Google, Alexander managed online marketing for the San Francisco Giants. He holds an AB with Honors in Political Science from Brown University and received MBA degrees from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and the National University of Singapore Business School.
