Alex is a digital media executive and entrepreneur, with a background in investments.
Alex is currently President of meetMoi.com, a leading mobile web company focusing on location-based dating. In this capacity, Alex oversees day-to-day operations. Prior to meetMoi, Alex was Senior Vice President, Strategy & Operations at Zagat Survey. In addition to overseeing Zagat’s Interactive division, which includes ZAGAT.com, ZAGAT.mobi and ZAGAT TO GO business lines, he ran the IT and business development departments.
Prior to Zagat, Alex was a senior member of the New Business Development team at Sony BMG Entertainment, with the mission of deriving revenue from video and other non-traditional assets.
Alex began his career as a M&A banker and private equity investor, with stints at WaterView Advisors, The Beacon Group, and Smith Barney. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School, and a BA from Williams College.
